    Anyone stayed in the standard Superior Queen rooms? What er they like? Thinking of a 2 day stay for the missisus 40th.

                I have stayed there before the refurb. Rooms were old school opulent (Tatty but incredibly comfortable) One thing I didn't like was the view from the room window considering the cash I paid. That wont change however much they refurb it.

                If you fancy something nice, try a corner room above the 4th floor at the st martins lane. It looks down towards trafalgar square. Its one of my favorite hotels.
