The Grass is Always Longer on the Other Side of the Street

Hot of the press from Nottingham:
A PAIR of bemused Carlton pensioners returned from holiday to find patches of grass on either side of their street cut at completely different lengths.

Do some people have so little to complain about? Has anyone pointed out that every single area of grass will have different lengths at the edge to the what is beyond?

Yes. The very same people buy the Wail so they can be guaranteed of having something to rant and complain about every day.

I actually like the longer length grasses in Nottingham.

Anything to give the bees a bit of a leg up...

We just don't feel like we're getting the service we pay for.
Presumably they'll be in the news later in the year having not had a house fire but are refused a refund of their financial contribution to the fire service.

Wow what a story would you believe same thing happens where I live, its a long road with grass verges, about halfway down it it switches councils at a sign saying 'Welcome to the borough of ....;, one side is always nice and short, the other its tends to get pretty long. I'm sure you all wanted to know that and I have made you week telling you.

Was watching Countryfile the other week - some councils are deliberately not cutting all their grass verges on roadsides to increase biodiversity of plants and help bees and other pollinating insects.

At the moment the country as a whole doesn't have enough pollinating insects.

In addition it saves money as the grass cutting teams only have to cut the grass verges on most roads sides 3 times a year.

So this is a none story.

where I live, the mornings are shorter than the afternoons. It a bit odd really, I feel the day shouls be splt evenly , maybe they should move twelve oclock back a bit.
