Youngests birthday party/BBQ tomorrow, followed by lazy Fathers day doing nothing much, but a gentle cycle with the kids, and a swim.

Why aren't 1-3 02's job?

Dude it's like this. I am an old fashioned kind of guy. In our house we have pink jobs and blue jobs.

Pink jobs include laundry, making the beds, doing the shopping, taking the kids to school, bathing, feeding and watering the kids etc.

Blue jobs include charring meat on the barbecue, spending all morning trying to get the suffolk punch to start, pushing it over the lawn, tending to my tomatoes.

Blue jobs sound better than pink jobs, yes?

Sadly blue jobs also include, fixing the car in all weathers, plumbing, catching spiders, lecktricks, defender of the house, prime money earner, vetinary surgeon, first aider, bank of Dad.

I get feedback on Sunday as to how I am measuring up.
