I have a couple of Samsung TV's one is a 7 years old 50" plasma and the other one is a newer 55 LED. The 50 is starting to make strange noises so I am guessing that will need replacing soon I can't see the point of smaller widescreen TV's anything under 40" is a monitor

I saw the LG one in the Trafford Centre a couple of months ago and it was just stunning. They had the demo in that is showing in the picture with the ladies and you could have just stepped in to it. It was crystal clear and so colourful. Very impressive indeed. They were £22k at the time so the prices do appear to be falling at a rate of knots... although they need to be falling faster and harder.. but am sure they will.

Problem is going to be convincing the missus it is a good idea to knock knock the kitchen out to make the living room wall big enough to fit one..

Must be larger than 100. When I had my projector the picture was 9 foot by 7 from a 17 foot throw I had to get rid of it because playing FPS and racing games made me seasick
