London ‘third most successful financial centre in wealth management’

Got to the love the times, talking it up when the wealth is moving out!

    London

The capital, which came second in PwC’s most recent survey, carried out in 2011, fell behind Singapore this time, in the latest evidence that financial services firepower is moving east.
Switzerland held its spot as the number one city for wealth management and private banking activities in the survey, published today.

And Switzerland is not in the EU, yet this lack of membership does not appeared to have harmed it's ability to be successful in finance, as the Tories or the idiots claim would happen were the UK to leave.

And Britain IS in the EU, yet this membership does not appeared to have harmed it's ability to be successful in finance, as UKIP or the idiots claim would happen were the UK to remain in the EU.

Yes, it has yet to be seen because it's been delayed a few times and still has to be unanimously approved by the member states, which isn't going to happen because Britain, Luxemburg, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Denmark oppose it.

Well technically London is it's own country. Kind of like the Vatican expect they have the M25.

In which case it would be a city state, like Singapore
