    80th Birthday pressie ideas.

    The old codger (father) has reached the grand old age of 80.

    Need to get something for the old codger (father's) 80th. Budget about £150.

    Current ideas are;
    Zimmer frame
    Stannah Stairlift
    Saga annual membership.

    Need more ideas though. Thinking caps on people.

    Ta.

    (with apologies to Pondlife)

    His interests mainly revolve around sailing instruction, although he's packed that in now.

      Do you stand to inherit his massive house when he goes?

      Stripogram then.

        For my mum's 80th, we made a 'memories' book, where we asked friends and family to write about something nice about her or that they remembered doing with her.
        People really got into it, sending pages of stuff and photographs, which made a really nice album.

        We also did a 'posh' cream tea at a nice hotel which she loved.

          We did something similar for my granddad - we also got a load of old cine films converted to video for him.

                No but very practical and thoughtful and can't argue it will be useful.
