    The not so tall Shard

    Why do journalists keep banging on the The Shard is the tallest building in Western Europe, when the Tour Eiffel is taller?

    The Shard = 308m

    Tour Eiffel = 324m

    Engineer Gustave Eiffel says take that, and was built 124 years ago!!

          The Eiffel tower is a pylon. The fact that the French were too incompetent to build more of them and hang electricity cables on them doesn´t make any difference.

                    TV Tower (Europaturm) - Frankfurt: 337.5m. Used to have decent revolving restaurant at the top.



                    TV Tower (Fernsehturm) - Berlin: 368m. You can still go up it
