Not only have we been politically and economically stable for longer than the Germans have been a country, we've won all the wars they started, planted our descendants round the world so that we have our convicts running Australia, our stroppy gits dominating the whole North American continent and have our influence spread wide in Africa in Asia.
Economically the Germans are at their peak and because of their demographic time bomb are about to shrink their economy over the next 20 years - well that and paying for the feckless Latins AND paying the Russians extortionate prices for energy that could have come from nuclear means, so by 2050 we will be the largest economy in Europe too.

Looks like Germany is good tactically but lacks strategic vision

I've been to Benidorm. Dec 31st 1999. Was a last minute booking to go somewhere hot for the millennium. Didn't know where it was until we arrived.
