FCA pledges to pursue prosecutions against five or more banks accused of fixing Libor

Who's about to get caught out then?

"The FCA would not confirm which institutions it was investigating or when it would issue its next fine"

    Charges going up then.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

It’s time to stop persecuting bankers in this manner. Just pick a few dozen of them at random, take them to Hyde park and execute them. They will get the message.

There must be a law covering incorrect financial reporting that results in a Jail sentence, that is what is needed, they knowing lied for years to boost profits & defraud customers they should be in a cell, that would stop future temptation.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

                Hang on...

Salesmen and agents are just as tulipty given the wrong type of incentives. All they did was game a system while being paid to do so.

If Libor went down the route of PPI it would probably be the end of all banks involved and the liability would exceed each of their assets combined

but it's ok the Gov will bail them out and the loses will be made public
