Why a Recruiter is Necessary in Your Job Search

It sounds good in theory, but in reality they're usually illiterate, clueless, conniving and incompetent.

      It sounds hilarious in 'theory':
      • Direct contact with hiring manager
      • They know the ins and outs of the job description
      • Provide career advice
      • Up-front honesty
      • Interview preparation

Let me just laugh my ass right off
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

What if what you didn’t know was that the two you don’t match are the two that are the most important to the hiring manager, and without it they won’t consider you?
PUT THAT IN THE FRACKING JOB DESCRIPTION THEN YOU MORONS!!!!

For a headhunter, or a decent permie role, that all makes sense. For what most of us do, it doesn't.

I hate phone calls from recruiters who say "your perfect for the roll" when in fact they are just C.V fishing
