                  Crawled through a forty minute traffic queue. Thought it was an accident but no, it was a three inch rain water flood. Each time a petrol engine wimp driver got near it took 30 seconds for them to decide that as they can’t reverse, or turn right or left they have to go through the flood. Another advantage of Diesel, no wet leads and plugs.

                    There was a common car of the 80's or 90's (can't remember which) where the designers has put the air intake about 5 inches above the road level, meaning if you drove through any decent standing water the engine would suck up water, try to compress it in the engine, forcing the head of the engine off the block.



                    Nice design.
