    Why you went contracting. I received this email from a permie agent:

    Could you please provide me with a contact number and a time when it would be best to contact you in regards to having a chat about your current situation and possible job opportunities? If you are interested in opportunities could you please kindly forward me your updated CV and answer the questions below as this will give me a good understanding of you and what you could be looking for.



    What geographical locations are you looking to work in?

    Do you have a European passport or require a work visa?

    What type of roles would you consider?

    Present salary?

    Expected salary?

    What is your availability to interview?

    Notice period?

    Why are you looking to leave your current employer?

    What languages do you speak?

    Would you be prepared to travel in your role? If so how much?

    What are your strengths and weaknesses?

    Is your role client facing and what levels of personnel do you deal with?

    What are your career objectives?

    What are your main day to day responsibilities?

    That last question they "slipped in" gives the game away. Its just another trawl for client contacts. Agents, bless 'em.
