    German contracting

Ive taken a gig at an investment bank in Germany. Start in a few weeks. Never worked there before.

The umbrella / self employed route is the way to go is it?

I do not have a UK co.

Do you have an EU passport first? If not, have you applied for a working visa?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I'm British but I've been in Aus a long time. No visa issues.

I found some good info in these forums actually.

I'm "opting in", and I'm going umbrella.

Now just gotta find a flat share with some friendly drunk nurses.

did you have any specific umbrella in mind or are you currently researching?
i'm in a similar situation and would prefer to outsource all the red tape, as far as possible.
