    www.manager.co.uk hmmmm??

    Hi,

Im just starting out contracting but im having a hell of a time finding the right umbrella company to use, dont want to go the ltd route straight away. Has anyone used manager.co.uk yet? What do you think?

Havnt seen any bad stuff about them and they are advertised on this forum so they must be OK right??

    Cheers

That would be a very risky assumption

      WRONG!!!

Rule #1 of contracting: NEVER TRUST ANYONE ELSE WITH YOUR (HARD-EARNST) MONEY.

          Especially your accountant...

My mate was telling me the other day about the day the bailiffs came to call.

Accountant had buggered off on holiday to Spain and neglected to inform him of payment being due...

          Oh Dear....

Fortunately he was out & the house was locked up... sorted that cheque out quick though...

credit check should tell you how much they're good for. i.e. you can have more confidence if they owe you £10k but twitch a bit if they're holding onto £50k...
