              Niot tried one from Poundland, but I refused to pay out for a Logitech Harmony (how much for a remote control???).
              I think I paid about £15 for a universal remote and it works perfectly, with no set up needed.

              I remember when you used to have to look up manufacturer codes in a little booklet, so was pleasantly surprised that things had progressed in the 15 or so years since I had last bought one.

                The cheaper models aren't that expensive, mine was only £35. It was worth it, IMO. The little screen and function buttons mean it will support literally any function you want from your original remotes without having to remember what button you mapped it to, and it also switches things on and off all together, selects the right inputs and so on, and can be tweaked to your hearts content using USB.
