    Re: Tax advice needed

    Hello all,

The company so far has been trading in the UK only.

Recently we were approached to source wholesale goods from outside the UK and supply to our client overseas, the client wants us to pay for the goods and is ready to send the funds to our business account. We will be charging a commission and expect to pay taxes.

This is a trial order for our client, if we are successful, we will be handling all of there business in 3 different countries.

Will we have to pay any UK taxes on the clients money in our account for the purchase of goods and shipping to there country?

Any assistance in this matter will be very helpful.

    Thanks

Why would a purchaser with cash to pay need a third party to place orders?

      Sounds dodgy to me.

Without more detail to analyse this, its hard to comment but something seems iffy. I'm drawn towards carousel fraud for some reason.

Get yourself in front of an accountant / tax specialist.

Sounds like money laundering to me
