**** off......Stung twice on my upper arm a couple of weeks ago and it swelled up to magnificent proportions. Again this Saturday on the same arm but lower down and now look like Popeye. I ******* hate the little black and yellow bastards...

They are actually more useful earlier in the year, due to the midges they eat,
but yeah, once they realise the end is near and start binging on sugar they become a real PITA.Comment

There are loads around in Devon at the moment.
Went out to a BBQ with my daughter and her family the other day and the beer garden was crawling with them, must have been a nest near by.
No one stung as far as I am aware.Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.Comment
