Day 5: Zoco speaks his mind

So, day 5. Same old, same old and no login.

They were, however, very insistent that I attended a meeting. So, I joined the rest of the team in a large room upon one of whose walls was a large notice board with the caption "Our Community" running across the top of it.

Upon the board were photos of employees engaged in various community projects, such as painting and decorating a local shelter for the disabled. The purpose of the meeting was to celebrate these activities and slap themselves on the back for their right on "communidee" spirit.

I did not sign up for this, I'm a contractor ffs - and I've let both the agent and PM know my feelings. I did also offer to make a financial contribution to whatever cause it is they are supporting but I feel that, from their point of view, that's not the point. Everyone has to get involved.

    I await the fallout.
