    Recommend A Good VPN Portal?

I'm finding it difficult to go to some specialist sites from my work PC (in my lunchtime of course), can anyone recommend a covert portal that I can use to access all sites?

Happy to pay for this service.

Don't be f***ing stupid. If the sites are blocked from the client network, then trying to get round them is a quick way to end your contract.

If you are really that desperate, get a dongle for your laptop, or a tablet with 3G connectivity, or use your phone.

      MiFi and a tablet

If they block websites, odds are they are gonna block VPN portals

I have a server running at home. I just RDP into it, and surf to my heart's content.
With half a finger on the "minimize" button..

All the places I've been at recently block all except 80 and 443 and do some packet inspection so running RDP or ssh on 443 gets the door slammed too. OSGD is the only one that works every time for me!

You can run a ssh server on port 443 but connecting direct won't work, the firewall will try and proxy it and fail because it isn't HTTPS. However you can configure PuTTY to run ssh via the proxy so it'll issue the CONNECT that the proxy wants to see and presto you have a ssh login, from there tunnel whichever port(s) you need.

This trick has never failed for me, but please don't blame me when you get binned for abusing it.
