          That’s the headline, would not surprise me if it was just a standard robbery (they took a phone & watch too) but “yet another robbery” is not as much of a grabbing headline

              They really should teach some basic debating / reasoning skills as part of the national curriculum. I genuinely believe teaching kids how to think is both possible and sensible.

                  That "people killed each other 5000 years ago, ergo nothing invented in the last 5000 years can be responsible for people killing each other" is a spectacular piece of faulty logic of the type such education might counter.
