Is it any good? Shall I get some?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

It keeps you awake. Why would you want some?

As with many medicines, I think it's wise to know what's wrong with you before finding out if a medicine is 'any good'?
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I take it if I have some long distance driving to be done, and it keeps you fresh and alert.

I'd dare say if you were revising for an exam, it would be cracking, as well as during an exam, but I digress

Tbh, it only keeps you awake if you take it in excessive quantities, or too late in the day.

Not at all true. 200mg, a medium dose, keeps you alert and awake all day, with little side effects. I've taken 400mg, but it made me anxious, and kept me awake for a much longer time than needed.

I dont think we differ essentially, it will keep you awake sure, but the advice is generally take it in the morning, you can generally still get a night's sleep. Depends what you call a moderate dose, my 14 stone hubby is advised to take 100mg, by his Gp , does him very well to keep going all day and sleep that night. He wouldnt take more unless it was some exceptional situation.

I thought you said it doesn't work on him, unless he took it late in the day or in excess?

100mg - 200mg is a normally prescribed dose, although a quack friend I used to play cricket with has prescribed it at 400mg for sleep apnea patients of his.
