    TDD & motivation

I have a plan to get myself motivated. I'm allowed one random eBay purchase for completing each test class and another when all the tests pass.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Surely the thought of more (tulippy) work should be enough to motivate you....

Sorry for putting a downer on your day.....

It's good work, there is just a lot of it and it needs to get done. So I thought I would provide an incentive.

And it's working. At the rate I am going I will need a new shed.

I am having the same problem motivating myself for a day of unit tests.

Writing tests is a soulless task.

Much better you don't write them, and on occasion delete a few written by a previous developer.

Doodab, whilst I admire your commitment to this venture, I feel I cannot give you my full backing unless you post a list of the useless tat you're buying.

              TIA.

Oi! Less of the useless if you don't mind. It's mostly R/C stuff, a new transmitter, some servos, cheap motors and other stuff I can use for tinkering.
