Latest Dilemma : PVC conservatory doors vs Oak Room divider

Latest Dilemma due to the cost of heating (especially during the winter).

Conservatory area is currently opened out onto main lounge area, Mrs NWP2C prefers the wooden oak room divider (French doors):

But the insulation is nowhere near as good as PVC (I think).

Ultimately need the lounge to lose less heat during the winter months but is it worth going for the wooden door for aesthetics? And will the lounge still stay cosy and warm with the wooden divider...

Toughest decision to date me thinks.

WHS; what makes you think you have a say in this matter, given the existence of a person named Mrs NWP2C?

The preference is not necessarily a deal breaker.... the purpose of the purchase is for separating the conservatory area from the lounge area and save money on heating.

No! The purpose is to ensure that Mrs NWP2C is toasty and warm whilst in a lounge she finds aesthetically pleasing.

Look mate, just go with the wooden doors as the lady wants, because if you choose anything else and it goes wrong, you're going to hear about it every day of your life until you die.

Compromise, have a look around there are cheaper versions. these fold out the way so in the summer you get the open plan feel.
