    What economic growth?

Economic growth is not enough to make Britain healthy, says Archbishop of Canterbury - Telegraph

So Welby says Economic growth is not enough. What economic growth is he talking about? AFAIK the economy has been flatlining for 5 years now.

No, look at 2013 to date:

Q1 growth was 0.3%, Q2 was 0.7%, Q3 is expected to be 0.8% (announcing on Friday).

If that sort of growth continues through Q4 we'll be looking at around 2.4% for the year, which would be pretty decent.

This was only made possible due to the rock solid foundations laid down by Gordon Brown.

            Did he actually say that?

Edit: Ah, I see what you did there. Never mind, funny anyway.
