I was so bored at 4am this morning (if you're a parent with little one who went to bed at 6pm the evening before you'll understand why I was up so early) I started reading about the chemical reactions that occur in battery (strictly speaking a cell).

Italian physicist Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta invention continues to be the same principle in which today's batteries operate. This fascinated me. And it got me thinking about the need for change.

So now I'm thinking about similar form factors for portable power but with one startling difference in mind. You can re-charge the cell to full capacity in seconds.
