    Calorie Counting

    I hate the principle of CC and everything it stands for, but as a bit of a scientific experiment I thought I would try recording what I eat and drink. And for a geek, it's quite interesting to to.

    For instance apparently I still have 150kCal to spare today, to meet my goal of losing 2lb a week, after all meals and snacks, and I have deliberately not altered my diet.

    Does make it even more irritating though, that I am exercising AND have what is a decent diet, and still not losing the weight. 1400kCal a day, and exercising, come on give me a break.

    Maybe I am secretly an incredibly efficient body. Yes that must be it, I am a marvel and my tummy is a badge of how amazing I am.

    Try reading Gary Taubes stuff, everything we are told about diet/weight loss/health is wrong.

              Sure I am. Let me regale you with my exciting menu for today...

              Breakfast:
              Decent-sized bowl of choco-squares
              Tea with 1 sugar
              432 calories...

              Lunch:
              4X rye-bread, 4X cheese triangle
              large raw carrot, chunk of cucumber
              1 biscuit
              green tea
              326 calories

              Dinner:
              2 hashbrowns
              1/2 tin beans
              2 fried eggs
              2 cups of white coffee
              539 calories

              Misc:
              Another cup of tea and another biscuit
              109 calories

              No tiny portions, no salad, not even anything deliberately healthy other than lunch.

              The killer would be desserts (not a big draw) and snacking on crisps and Snickers (a very big draw).

              I was very surprised how few calories I've ended up with TBH.

                Well I am 5'8" but used to be 9-10stone so I am very slender when in shape.

                  By eating a carp diet you definitely won't go back to it.

                  Plus if you are able to now build muscle take advantage and build some.....
