Just had a loon of a contactor on the phone

Found a CV, looks like its been written by a 5 year old so wanted clarification on a few points, lots of short term contracts, no sure if they have ever managed to finish one but they were clearly a permie playing at a contractor.

Asked him a few standard questions to make sure he knew what he was spouting on his CV and not just copied and pasted a few buzzwords, asked a bit about his work history, previous contracts etc again as it sounds like he doesn't stick around much and he went off on one.

Guess some people don't like being caught out as a charlatan

I want my account deleted and all of my information removed, I want to invoke my right to be forgotten.

Why didn't you just reject it? Seems like you screwed up.

Are you sure you weren't speaking with suity?

I am pretty sure as it was a real phone rather than an early learning centre one

Maybe he wrote it in simple language for the simple people who would read it?

Like who? The hiring manager at clientco?

Maybe he was very bright and talented, good at impressing people personally so didnt feel the need to have a good CV.

A well-written CV that truly reflected the persons abilities might open more doors.

Sometimes the person can't answer all the points on a well-written CVs.
Conversely, someone who is clever and engaging is let down by a mediocre CV.

A few minutes in the phone, and you can judge whether someone is "saleable" to clientco.

There are a myriad variations and subtleties to this game.
It's not just black and white, 0 and 1 logic, Spock.
                It's a people game.
