The revolution will not be televised

Funny how the mainstream media are not covering it:

'Orwell's 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not an instruction manual'. -
Nick Pickles, director of Big Brother Watch.

    Not covering what?

I saw a TV programme with the same title (minus "not") advertised the other day, so it will be televised methinks.

Oh, here you go, series one being repeated atm
BBC Three - The Revolution Will Be Televised, Series 1

So you are using more or less real time news source (twitter) and complain that old media (TV) are not as quick?

Oh I see, another Russell Brand stunt.

        So what? Is this news?

The mainstream media have the capability to dispatch a news crew in minutes, but they would rather carry banal stories and keep the nation sedated.

Hmm, banal stories like these (taken from BBC homepage):

Police probe cancer unit 'failures' - BBC News - Colchester General Hospital: Police probe cancer treatment

BAE Systems to cut UK shipyards jobs - BBC News - BAE to cut possibly more than 1,000 UK shipyard jobs

UK soldier killed in Afghanistan - BBC News - UK soldier killed in suicide attack in Afghanistan

              --

Which one of those in your view should be replaced with the story of a bunch of people in masks gathering together without notice?

IMHO presense of Russel Brant there disqualifies it from being news.

More importantly, do you think that after the (now imminent) revolution all tax dodgers will be given pardon?

Or post on this forum? You're right. I'm off to do better things.

Oi Santa, have you considered to claim being “Foreign Diplomat” and “Fiduciary of God” in your mortal kombat with HMRC?

It did not work too well in USA, but perhaps it will in the UK?

It's certainly a much more viable strategy.
