    Christmas Party!

    13 December 2013
    Counting House - Club Room
    6pm onwards

The club room is at the back, in the middle, on the ground floor. Small door on the right.

We'll be doing a secret santa - if you want to participate, please bring a wrapped gift costing around a fiver, suitable for any random member of the CUK collective.

(Damn - meant to make the poll public - can a mod do the needful?)

Being a first-timer, I'll presume that the obvious choices of radiator keys, Gladiator films and spoons with a little chutney stuck on them ready for the licking have already been done so often that every CUK member has a full collection already. So now I'll have to think about what a load of spotty, four-eyed geeks are likely to appreciate, beyond new pocket-protectors.

I want to know what happened to the xmas bash, what's all this "party" nonsense???

Am still looking at options for flights, and I may not get away early enough to get a reasonable flight to make it that evening.

Oz: We should figure out what kinda deal this is. I mean, is it a-a gathering, a shindig or a hootenanny?
                    Cordelia: What's the difference?
Oz: Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage; and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.
