    Area 51 (near Swindon)

Does anyone know what the secret junction off the M4 between 15 and 14 (east bound) leads to?

It's an unmarked junction (no signs at all) that leads to a gate (I can see it from the M4) that is sometimes guarded by what looks like military types.

I've looked on the fantastic Microsoft local live site.

Here is the secret junction onto and off the M4

    Here's what it leads to:

No roads nearby (click the Road link). Map shows nothing.

I've been told by locals not to talk about it.

It's where Alexei is developing his SKA.

Don't venture in, or you will be assimilated....

p.S did the 'military types' look like cybermen...?

It's actually now a US airbase and largest munitions dump in Europe (all underground).

            Storage for WMD no doubt.

            Sneaky.

Answer here Scroll down about halfway, look for RAF Welford. It's a munitions depot for the USAF base at Fairford. Or is it...

So, anyone who wants to locate our military installations can sack their spooks and just get broadband to view Wikepedia.

I wonder what it has under secret Iranian nuclear reactor, location of, best altitude to drop high impact deep penetrating bunker busters. Ah yes, excellent information.
