    Whilst the World Wages War and the End Times beckon,its curious to leanr some may still ponder on such profound questions as ...

    Is it too soon to start Christmas shopping?

    Harrods has already set up its Christmas display to lure shoppers in from the heat of August with tinsel, baubles and novelty Santas.

    Other shops are following suit, meaning the commercial run-up to Christmas this year has started more than four months before the day itself.

          Last year I suggested we had an Xmas do and I think I suggested it in July. I reckoned it would take that long to get this lot organised.

          There were no takers!
