Is this the best kinda boomed?

ClientCo have offered me a permie position at a good salary. The deal is I can work from home when required and work on any other projects as long as there's no interference (no chance of that). Ex ClientCo are looking to put together another biz (US based), where I can take up my former position working from home, doing my own hours.

Can't see what could go wrong, great current client on my doorstep and many years with ex client who know my current circumstances. Still doing minor projects putting together the occasional website / live music gigs that all bring in extra dosh.

Go for it. I went permie, sure you get more contracting but not a lot more. I just did my calculations again how much more would I have got if I was still contracting and oommuting. The thing is travel costs really eat into your contractor earnings, and not to forget the 8-10 hours extra on the road.

    Sounds gr8.
    I'm alright Jack

Sounds good - like being a permie without the trashy bits!

Ah, got it. It's a house of ill repute, and you provide the backing track.
