    The UK is corrupt

The UK is a very corrupt country.

The proof of this is that it's pretty much impossible to have a complaint upheld about anyone in any kind of posher-than-normal job title.

I'm not just talking about celebrities, MP's, bankers, but anyone with in a higher echelon position.

No Government agency or regulator will take on anyone like that even if your case, facts and evidence are watertight and you've put it all on a plate for them. Codes of conduct are there to be enforced against those in normal occupations or lower.

    Excuses for inaction include:-

    - claiming somehow the complaint is outside their incredibly narrow remit.
    - claiming that they've only had one complaint and can't pursue just on the basis of that
    - if it's a super-strong case they then have to decide whether pursuing them is 'cost-effective' or 'in the public interest', which they decide rarely is unless it's going after joe bloggs.

It's a very corrupt country. That's why dodgy MPs, bankers, DJ's, celebs etc. are all laughing as they're untouchable.

Perhaps try one of the African nations or India then?

At least in some of those countries they are not pretentious about it. They may not spend millions of taxpayers money setting up all kinds of authorities, regulators etc. to give the impression they are maintaining standards when in fact they're not.

Aside from all the ones who have been prosecuted, obviously.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

The justice system is no more biased in favour of the wealthy than the health or education systems. Arguably it's less so.

The UK is one of the least corrupt countries in the world. Everyone wants to post their contracts under UK law and be tried under UK law because our system of law and enforcement is the fairest there is. May I suggest you tell us what your problem is first as CUK is an expert forum for discussing the merits of legal cases. It is free, objective and backed by a group of minds that is second to none in its infinite knowledge of every subject. Where it lacks knowledge it will make it up.
