80s fancy dress costume ideas

average height skinny guy (me) needs to come up with an 80s themed fancy dress costume for new years.. any ideas?

freddy mercury - best idea so far
miami vice - not really the physique for it but dooable
david hasslehof - trying to avoid wearing tight leather trousers

In an episode of House, the doctor, played by Hugh Laurie, was invited to a party, with similar "80s" theme.

He turned up as a dandy, in powdered wig, etc, from the 1780s!

I reckon anyone can with the right shirt and a suitable tash. You might need to work on the tan though.
