Collecting new car this afternoon

Plan B has coughed up and bought me a new company car.

The Pathfinder, age 5,5years, was sold in October.

The new car arrives today

p.s. we still have the old Passat estate, it's still going strong, a provides a valuable hadr service

infact we have a Passat cc in the Benes fleet too now, that arrived in September.

Thread pointless without details of said vehicle followed by dogs abuse as to why you have bought the wrong car/model/colour and stories of how someones mate/dad/bloke in the pub had one and it blew up/dropped gearbox on motorway/ran off with his missus.

Looking forward to a few well earned beers tonight after first month invoice went in for new client and news of client #2 having a big chunk of work post Christmas.

got a substantial discount on the Q7 because there's a new shape coming next year

and also, Plan B has another company car, an A4 avant 3.0tdi quattro which is used by Plan B's Operations Director, that car is now 5 years old and out of guarantee, it's developed a knocking sound when starting from cold which goes away once it is warmed up and part of the deal to buy the new Q7 was that the Audi dealer fixed the A4, which they agreed to and honoured, there was a hydraulically operated pulley for the big belt which wasn't working properly

all in all a good deal
