Who on earth likes pink meat? I know I don't.
Just ordered a burger in a restaurant in cloggers and forgot to ask for it to be cooked 'well done'. It's come pink in the middle. Gag.

To Arab countries, rare means that you only have to scrape the charcoal off one side, but to the French, well done means rare in English, while medium means uncooked and rare they just bring out a live cow and a knife & fork.

When I travel abroad, as well as memorising " please,thank you, and how much" I also make sure to memorise ". Very Well Done" - never have to use that one with clients but invaluable when eating out !

Pink is overdone IMO

However, its best when the outside of the meat is well browned as that creates a lot of flavour to complement the juicy bloody mess on my plate
