How long before the people rise up?

BBC News - North Korean leader's uncle executed for 'treachery'

Time for mass protests and then US to supply arms to the rebels! Although they might use the nuclear option first.

Perhaps the UN could send a strongly worded letter ?
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

However bad the regime is in the NK, it is rather hypocritical of the west to criticise the execution of one man when the US has executed hundreds each year. Moreover, the drone attack of yesterday killed two complete families in a wedding convoy in Yemen, very little media coverage about that.

And the US doesn't generally execute Obama's in-laws just because he doesn't like them much.
