Any savvy with the jewel trade? Flogging a gold tie-pin on eBay...

    Hi all,

Was given a gold tiepin with the letter P it, weighs .006kg's and had it valued at about £100 scrap, trouble is gold tiepin prices are all over the place, between 50 and 500, obviously I don't want to do myself out of money but on the other hand I'd like to get shot of it this week, as I'm sure no bugger will be buying in Jan and don't want to run the ad at the wrong price.

Any of you gold-savvy fellas know what it should go for?
