Thought I'd watch some TV over Christmas

Not something I normally do but since I bought a new HD telly and HD Freesat box I thought I'd see what was on.

Sweet FA, the wind's howling and blowing the satellite dish with enough force it drops the signal

Could be worse I suppose, 10,000 without power so far and travel severely disrupted. Gales here forecast to last for at least a week.

Not nice but then again I can say that, I've just come in from sitting on the balcony drinking a cup of tea wearing only a t-shirt. Its unbelievable, about 13 degrees outside although apparently we're going to get the tail of it
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

      Bah Humbug!

      Finding Nemo is on shortly.

Or, perhaps more your style, Scrooge on C5 starting now.

Why would that be more my style?
