Took the dog out for a walk at about 8:30 this morning, just before High tide. Normally we'd venture down to a local playing field right on the coast, chuck the ball about for a bit and then go looking for rabbits along the coastal path.
Got there this morning and the waves were smashing over onto the field. Walking along the path would have been Darwin award material.
It's still howling and pnissing it down.
Hmmm, local news saying sea front restaurants deploying sandbags before tonight's high tide which will be worse. Pier and Esplanade covered in debris.
