Married? Do you wear a wedding ring?

Just stumbled across the following but can't say that I'd ever noticed before

They never tire of telling us about the importance of marriage, so why don't British prime ministers ever wear a wedding ring?

Rather random, I never knew that. Although I thought the Yanks wore them on the right hand?

I wear mine on a chain around my neck.

I do - it was my dad's and before that my great grandfather's. A very economical approach.

So you need to get divorced/die before your kids get married?

I wear mine when going out at the weekend or whenever I'm doing 'people stuff', as opposed to walking the dog, diy, gardening etc.

I wear it on a chain round my neck when on client site (factory so HSSE reqmt)
