Venue is The Counting House - between Bank station and Gherkin.

Any one interested, please drop me a PM and I'll give full details

I'm in London on the 23rd - 24th but going home on the 24th as it's a Friday.

(As will most contractors working in London.)

Hi, Personallly, I am inclined to agree that Friday is not the best day. I had a debate with the Network Lead about this, but I am Club founder not Lead for London and I want each Lead to lead as they see fit. The logic for a Friday is that it is better to get 20 people prepared to catch a later train than 100 just turning up for something to do. The rationale is that those 20 will be keen on the Contractor club concept - and more likely to be active members. I hope the following London event will be a be on on a Thursday - maybe see you at that one instead? Rob

However a large number of those who work in London and travel down will leave Thursday and WFH Friday

Very good point. I've always ended up in London on Fridays - but you're right WFH is more common. Wed for future ones it seems. Thanks

So is this a social event or a "recruiting event" ?

Glad you put quotes round recruiting.

Both. We envisage a 10-20 min intro to Contractor Club and the London network, then 20 mins of a guest speaker. After that it will be socialising and informal Q&A with Ian and myself as we wander round the room.

Couldnt seem to PM you. So: Counting House, Gallery Room, from 6PM onwards. Closest tube station – Bank

Venue location: The Counting House, 50 Cornhill, London, EC3V 3PD (The Counting House - Contact)

Agenda: Introduction from London Lead to the Club and the London Network and then Q&A with London Lead and Club founder as we socialise over a beer. Informal.
