    UK leaves EU?

Given a choice between being a British Citizen and being a European Citizen, which would you choose?

Personally I don't feel any more "British" than I do European, so if it came to it I'd rather be an EU citizen. Trouble is, that is dependent on being a citizen of an EU country. So if it came to the UK leaving the EU, and consequently my leaving the UK, how could I keep my EU citizenship?

I would prefer to be Chinese - or at least East Asian.

I'm moving to Wales, would still like to be British.

If I wanted to be run by Germany and France I'd move there
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

I have spent years living in France and Germany, and would rather be there. But the real question was citizenship. I don't want to be a citizen of a UK outside the EU.

I think I'll get myself dual British-Dutch citizenship and hedge my bets.

I suspect very few politicians have given any thought to your question.

I don't suppose they care, but when all the Brits living abroad come back grump and vote, they will.

For myself, I happen to be working in the UK now (first time since 1990) but the thought of being stuck here for life seems like a life sentence.

..., but not before transferring all their savings to a low tax regime that has tax information agreements with the EU and not the UK.

Damn, I better get some savings then!
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

So the big numbers are in Spain, France, Ireland, Germany. The rest not so much at all.

It would be best to have a deal with these four countries and probably Netherlands as they quite like Brits over there.

The east Europeans can bugger off. We wouldn't lose anything.
