    Reward Points. The Price of Loyalty

    Three business class flights return for the wife and kids to Phoenix Arizona - Free(Points) + Taxes
    Car Parking at Airport - Tesco Vouchers + Shell Points(Free)
    Five nights in a top notch 5x resort at the height of the season in a two bedroom apartment, lounge/diner apartment £650 + Points + Taxes
    Helicopter Ride - Grand Canyon (Free - Avios)
    Car Hire for 10 days - Free + $100 Taxes
    Five additional nights in Hilton Hotels - Points + $75

    Took a couple of hours to book.

    Loyalty. You know it makes sense.

          Very nice, but how much did you/your company have to spend in order to earn the requisite points? And presumably at not the cheapest price points either.

                    That's the thing - to earn enough points to be awarded anything useful means it would be a bit of a busman's holiday in my view. Points are worth having if someone else is paying for you to earn them but other than that I can't be bothered.
