Big boys rubbish. Sycophantic and uninformative tosh presented by 3 @rses who know f*** all about cars but totally overuse of unnecessary adjectives. Saw them when I did a stint at the BBC and my initial concerns were realised.
They are c**ks

I think it's had it's day.
There's very little info for a prospective buyer - just a lot of laddish (though, admittedly, sometimes amusing) hi jinx.
Personally I much preferred 5th Gear (is it still on?)
Always liked Tiff and Quentin.Comment

I thought the main feature went a bit silly by their own standards at the end - I'm a big fan of it as an entertainment show (it's not about cars) but the whole TGPD was over the top.
Very jealous about the supermarket though.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

That is the point of the show isn't it? And cars provide a broad structure that most other laddish entertainment shows lack. I can think of one or two popular slapstick, shouty laddish shows that I avoid like the plague.
Although I'll concede that last night's '80s hatchback trials got a bit too silly at times. I won't spoil it for Spacecadet by saying any more!Comment

They're funny characters though, and I still find the program enjoyable even though I'm not a motorhead and am utterly mystified why anyone, however rich, would ever spend more than £20K for a car (well OK, £50K tops).Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment
