The bubble is collapsing from the inside:

We're north of London and finding the market crazy

We've got a buyer for our place, had 3 people put offers in and we hadn't even put it on the market officially

Now got to find somewhere to buy/rent where want to live....
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

You really don't do you. The first call I had this morning was from one of my clients to tell me that their vendor wants an additional £40,000 or the deal is off.

They were due to exchange this afternoon.

We brought in zone 6 last summer, the house had been on the market for about 3 months and we got it for about 5k less than the asking price. This month a smaller house on the same street was on the market for 5k more than we paid for ours and an offer was made in 2 weeks for the asking price.. The market has gone mad!

I'd advise your client to tell the vendor to fook right off then and move to some place sensible such as Birmingham - they'll probably SAVE £40k in process.

                  ???

I would rather not move than live in Birmingham.
