    Microsoft new CEO

Microsoft names Satya Nadella to replace Steve Ballmer
First I'd thought it was a girl's name.
Other than that they guy's track record was heading the cloud division, which is doing ok, but not really owning the space, whereas what's needed is to turn the company around radically.
Not a very public figure either - it's the first time I hear about the bloke and I follow tech scene/news pretty closely...
To sum up I'd sell my shares sooner rather than later, if I had any...

They are getting writeups like this:
Why I absolutely love the Microsoft BizSpark Programme
so I guess it's ok - they may need optimise their costs etc, but Cloud and virtualisation is a growth area anyway.
The broader Microsoft portfolio, the cash cows, Office, Windows, even XBone are in a much worse position and without those Microsoft will not survive on Azure alone in it's current state and form...

Cloud and server divisions (both his IIRC) are both doing well.

It must be fun working for AtW, like having to help your grandad with "his explorer" and "the Google".

He might not. I'm just saying he might do things differently. You can always hope.

Server division is milking locked in customers with increased prices, that won't last long.

Or you can just buy Office 2003 from Ebay.
