How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

And there's good stuff in Wales as well, tried some Penderyn over christmas and that's not bad as well

Anything but the blended mass produced cheap tat has got to be a good thing, I don't particularly care where it comes from as long as it tastes nice
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

The Scottish parliament recently gave something like 1.8 million to a distillery to turn it into one of the best in Scotland. The owner then went and gave over 600,000 (but not from the grant) to the no to independence lot :-)
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

yep soon Scottish whisky will be like French wine undercut mainly by superior alternatives made in other countries.

Years of skill can be hired and ingredients grown anywhere.

Ah, but do those ingredients include the peaty waters from highland streams?
