    Well seeing as I'm bored I decided I'd test myself;

Putting the bins out - when I'm home, yes

Doing the dishes without being asked - yes

Offering to make a cup of tea - yes, always

Saying 'I love You' - yes

Opening a door for her - yes of course, what do you take me for, some kind of cave dweller?

Making the bed - I try, but she's better at it

Looking after the kids so my partner can go out - no kids in Tester Towers

Listening to my partner talk or moan about her day without complaining - 'listening' is not really the operative word, pretending to listen is more like the truth

A kiss or hug goodbye - yes

    Leaving notes - yes

Treating her to a day at the spa - she hates the spa

Doing the ironing without being asked - no, we don't iron

Putting the toilet seat down - no

Agreeing to let them choose the film - sometimes

Give her flowers or chocolates - yes

Surprise night out or weekend away - yes

Letting my partner take control of the TV remote - sometimes

Clearing the toilets - we have a cleaner

Cleaning up after myself - no

    Candlelit dinner - always

Remembering anniversaries or birthdays - usually

    Cooking dinner - yes

    Paying her a compliment -yes

Going for a walk together -yes

Give her a massage or foot rub -sometimes

Making breakfast in bed - no, we eat at the table, we're civilised here

Running her a bath - no, she can operate taps

    Doing the vacuuming - sometimes

Putting a load of washing on - sometimes

Go shopping or on a family day out with them instead of watching/playing football - I don't like football but I seldom miss the rugby and we usually watch speed skating and bicycle racing together

Actually Mrs V quite likes it if someone pampers her and runs the bath, gets the bath smellies out and sends her up there with a glass of wine.

The kids tend to like doing it for her nowadays though.

So what romantic gestures do the gentlemen like their ladies to make? Apart from a BJ that is.

I actually quite like it when she cooks specially for us (not the kids) and we dress to go out / dinner.

When the I cook for the family its pretty much "but Dad its all vegetables" or "why isn't the meat burnt"!

Though you are pretty spot on for most men's desert preference!

                    WHS, and when she smiles.

When she dresses up in her best clothes.

                    And BJs, obviously.
