    Brown questions pension fund plan

    This guy is a numpty.

BBC News - Scottish independence: Brown questions pension fund plan

The Scottish government has failed to provide evidence it can properly fund pensions under independence, former prime minister Gordon Brown has said.
The UK government cannot fund the black hole that now exists!

Why does this mean that Scotland would be able to fund theirs?

Worse he caused the black hole in the first place, he's either insanse or totally without shame
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Exactly. What's the purpose of this argument when both governments are facing the same problem?

To be fair the Labour Party were saying vote Blair get Brown, so anyone stupid to vote them got what they deserve. It was an open secret

Both. He's a sociopath. He wasn't called The Prime Mentalist for nothing.

Nobody elected Major when he became PM, though. The list of Prime Ministers who were appointed without winning an election contains some distinguished names.

Pensions is actually pretty interesting aspect of independence - in the event of Yes vote - surely those who paid taxes to UK should be entitled to some pension? I guess that's the only real aspect that could force Scotland take on some debts in exchange for continued pension payments from UK budget.
